  • Hang up all nozzles and exit out of sales on the ruby (screen should show the word "Sales" on the screen).
  • Find the Ruby power brick. (This will be a black box approximately 6" x 6" in size and will be within 4-5' of the register. This box will have a square plug and a round plug connected.)
  • Disconnect the square plug from the box (NEVER DISCONNECT THE ROUND PLUG) and wait at least 30 seconds before reconnecting the square plug.
  • The Ruby will now power back on and begin the loading process (this will take a few minutes to load). The loading process is complete when you see the "Enter Cashier ID" on the screen.
  • Once you have logged back into sales, you should see system messages across the bottom of the screen (fuel pumps initializing, DCR's loading, etc).
  • After a few minutes there should not be any messages across the bottom of the screen. You may now resume performing sales functions.
  • If you are still experiencing problems, call 1-800-HLP-RUBY (1-800-457-7829) or McKinney Petroleum at (251) 666-0300.

Statements are mailed upon request.
